CCSD Fine Arts Office Visual & Performing Arts Office for the Charleston County School District

The Visual & Performing Arts Department assists and coordinates the Charleston County School District Music, Visual Arts, Dance, and Drama programs. It is our mission to build awareness of the tremendous impact the Arts have on the many children and young adults in our schools. The Visual & Performing Arts Office also coordinates the Gifted and Talented Artistic identification process and programs for CCSD students.

💜💚🩷 THAT’S A WRAP, INDY! 🏆

What a weekend for the Bands of Wando!

Our students took the field at Lucas Oil Stadium, competed against 91 other marching bands, and finished 4th place in Finals at the Bands of America Indianapolis Super Regional!

We couldn’t be prouder of these students, out incredible staff, and the entire Wando Band family who made this experience possible.

Indianapolis, you gave us a weekend we won’t soon forget!

Congratulations to our 26-27 Yearbook Cover Art Contest Winner - 4th Grader, Annie Collins!

Annie has been a talented and creative artist since she joined ARCA as a kindergartener. She was our grade level winner last year for 3rd grade and is currently working on the Festival of Lights Giant Greeting Card in Community Art Club with Mrs. O’Keefe.

We had 56 entries this year and the competition was fierce! Picking one cover winner is so hard! We have so many talented artists at ARCA.
