Summer Read programming kicks off on Monday!

Drop in anytime next week, Monday, June 1-Sunday, June 7, to challenge your family and friends to a rousing game of golf!

Take & Make crafts are back and interactive! Pick up your craft at the KidSpace desk June 1-August 2, or for as long as supplies last.

The Library will be closed Sunday, 5/24 & Monday, 5/25 for Memorial Day.

The Library will be closed this Thursday, 5/21, as planned electrical work will leave us without power. We plan to be open our regular hours Friday, 5/22. If anything changes, we will update here!

We received word from Eastern Illinois University officials, that EIU will be doing a test of the EIU Alert system over the campus speaker system on Monday, May 11th at 5:00 p.m. (TODAY!) You will hear "Attention. Attention. Campus is currently under a lockdown, please close windows, doors and stay out of site, stay in your rom. Check and monitor your text messages and email account for further information."
They are testing the system to be sure this message goes off in conjunction with our EIU Text Alerts. It will sound like an actual emergency message. There will be an all-clear message across the speaker system around 5:05-5:10.
EIU recognizes that community members may hear this message if they are near campus and don't want folks to be alarmed.
