Lowcountry Local First

Lowcountry Local First LLF cultivates an economy anchored in local ownership, because local-independent businesses are the Collectively, our choices have great power. A business.

As lovers of the Lowcountry, we understand that we have a choice in what we buy and from whom we buy it. We have a choice in what we eat – and from where and by whom it’s grown. To build or break a life. An economy. A city. A culture. The people of Lowcountry Local First offer a simple solution: Choose The Lowcountry. It’s an understanding that if we choose to neglect the Lowcountry, something bea

utiful, meaningful, and unique fades away. Lowcountry Local First is a way of life that celebrates and supports what we love most: the local, independent businesses and farmers who reflect the unique character, flavor, and culture of the place we call home. You have a choice. To choose the Lowcountry with your dollars. Your vote. Your voice. Your heart. So, choose – with everything you’ve got.

(TLP) is a Southern food culture magazine that tells the stories behind the people, places, and foodways that make up this diverse and dynamic culinary region. Through their stories, recipes, events, and online shop, , they connect us to the people and products they cover, giving us the opportunity to experience these stories first-hand. 📚

The team at TLP supports the mission of Lowcountry Local First every day, and we’re proud to also call them our coworking neighbors at . We asked their team to shout-out their favorite local products offered in their online marketplace — and we have to agree these are great items to consider for the foodie-lover on your gift list! 😋

You know that supporting local businesses is the key to making this community the kind of place you’re proud to call home. Lowcountry Local First works hard every day to lift up and support emerging entrepreneurs, seeding community change through local business ownership.

By giving today, $50, $65, $185 — or any amount that you are able — you are giving an emerging entrepreneur advice, support and access to a robust and supportive community that lasts all year.

Help us reach our end-of-year goal to raise $30,000 and create a lasting impact for dozens of local entrepreneurs such as Twanica Hazel, Owner of and graduate of the Good Enterprises Fall 2022 Community Business Academy.
