West Virginia Drill Academy completed another successful year at Camp Dawson. We welcomed 82 cadets and senior members from across four regions representing the following Wings: West Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, DC, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, and Puerto Rico. Cadet staff learned valuable leadership skills, while cadet students learned and improved their drill knowledge, performance, and discipline. Thank you to all of the senior members who gave up their holiday weekend to provide this excellent opportunity for the cadets.

Cadets - get your CEAP applications NOW to possibly get your encampment fees paid for!

🚨Applications for the Round 1 Cadet Encampment Assistance Program (CEAP) close in one week .

This program helps offset the cost of attending encampment by providing financial assistance to eligible cadets.

Families are strongly encouraged to apply during Round 1, which closes 15 April at 1700. Even though our encampment dates are late July, cadets are eligible and encouraged to apply during Round 1. Round 2 has VERY limited funding.
First time students, Advanced Training Squadron and Staff are eligible to apply for CEAP. First time students will be prioritized for funding. ATS and Staff awarded funding only if funds remain.

**Please note that cadets applying for CEAP for ATS or Staff are eligible to receive this award only once in their cadet career. CEAP has not been awarded for ATS or Staff the last two cycles so please find alternate funding sources should this be the case again.

For additional information about eligibility and information on how to apply, please visit the CEAP webpage.

Please be sure to also register for the FLWG encampment once registration opens. CEAP and Encampment registration are two separate application processes.
Thank you for supporting your cadet’s continued growth and participation in Civil Air Patrol programs.
