Eastern Illinois University students struggling with their writing assignments have a new place to go for help.

On August 25th, a historical marker to honor EIU alum Major Charles B. Hall was unveiled at the corner of Fourth Street and Garfield Avenue. Hall served as a Tuskegee Airman during World War II and made history for being the first African-American pilot to shoot down an enemy aircraft.

Also, check out the exhibit about Hall on display in the Collaboration Commons on the 3000 level!

Needing some down time during the first week of semester? Take a break with a canine companion at Booth Library! 🐾 Therapy dogs will be visiting the library this Wednesday from 1-3 PM. Come through the entrance facing the clock tower and meet our fluffy friends! 🐶

Monday-Thursday: 8 AM-10 PM
Friday: 8 AM-5 PM
Saturday: 9 AM-5 PM
Sunday: 2 PM-10 PM

These hours will be in effect starting Saturday, August 22nd. Stop by soon!

Exciting news! This fall, Booth Library will be home to a new technology service point on the 4000 level. This will bring together the ITS Help Desk, Panther Card Services, Telecommunication Services, and Library Technology Services into one convenient place.
