It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Dave Jarinko.

A cherished resident of Charlestown, Dave dedicated many years of service to our community. He served as a Town Commissioner from 1980 through 1993, providing years of leadership and commitment to the Town and its residents.

Dave continued his service to Charlestown in the 2000s as a member of the Planning & Zoning Board, where his knowledge, dedication, and commitment helped contribute to the continued growth and development of our community.

His years of service and involvement in Charlestown have left a lasting impact on our Town. We are grateful for the time and dedication he gave to our community.

The Town officials and staff extend our heartfelt condolences to Dave's family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Dave's contributions to Charlestown will always be remembered, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Thank you,

Town Hall Staff

DEDICATION NOTICE:

Our local Girl Scouts were given the task of choosing a local town and creating something that would benefit the community. They chose Charlestown and came up with the wonderful idea of creating a Little Free Library for our residents and visitors to enjoy!

The girls took this project from start to finish. They created, designed, and implemented their vision, and even came to Town Hall to present their idea to town officials. They arrived prepared with their design plans and a speech explaining their vision and how they planned to bring it to life.

We are so proud of the time, creativity, and dedication they have put into this project, and we can't wait to see their vision become a part of our community!

📅 Wednesday, August 19th

⏰ 5:00 PM

📍 Veterans Park

The girls are very excited to present their project to the Town of Charlestown, and we would love for our residents and visitors to come out and support them!

We hope to see you there!
