As America approaches its 250th anniversary and preparations continue for Sail 250, USS Constitution remains a powerful symbol of the history, service, and spirit that connect generations of Americans.

For more than two centuries, USS Constitution has represented the strength, resilience, and enduring legacy of our nation. Today’s underway in Boston Harbor continues that tradition.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our partners at Naval History and Heritage Command, Coast Guard Sector Boston and Base Boston, the 1812 Marines, National Park Service, local law enforcement, and fellow service members whose professionalism, coordination, and support help bring these historic moments to life safely and successfully.

Thank you for standing alongside Old Ironsides as we continue sharing her story with the American people. ⚓🇺🇸

In partnership with the Naval History and Heritage Command Detachment Boston, our crew has been working hard to restore USS Constitution’s masts as “Old Ironsides” prepares to return to her fully rigged configuration.

Every line, spar, and sail tells the story of the dedication, craftsmanship, and teamwork required to preserve the world’s oldest commissioned warship afloat. As restoration and rigging efforts continue, visitors have a rare opportunity to witness living history up close and experience the tradition and pride of the United States Navy firsthand.

Whether you are a history enthusiast, a family exploring Boston, or a supporter of America’s maritime heritage, there has never been a better time to visit USS Constitution and see the progress for yourself.

Come explore the ship, meet the crew, and be part of the journey as Old Ironsides prepares for America’s 250th.

This Armed Forces Day, we honor all who have answered the call to serve across every branch of the United States military, past and present. From the Sailors who fought aboard Old Ironsides during the War of 1812 to the service members defending our nation today, their commitment continues to strengthen the legacy of those who came before them.

As America’s Ship of State, USS Constitution remains a living reminder of the enduring spirit of our armed forces and the generations of service that have safeguarded our freedoms.
