I usually don't share sappy sad stories. However this one I will. Why? Because in the years that I worked at the Breachway. I had a handful of patrons who became my friend and ask for this same thing.
The ocean isnt just a body of water. It can become you, and you can become it. I remember one summer Morning, having the beach to myself. Thinking how small I felt next to her, but also feeling content and at peace. Each wave that crashed and then pulling back out copied my breathing as if we were one.
