Ready for a celebration recap? 🎉 Our end-of-year PRIDE Rally did not disappoint! 8th grade dominated the volleyball tournament 🏐, and students snagged amazing prizes — gift cards, AirPods, a mini fridge, and an electric scooter!

Students earn stamps for showing PRIDE traits and trade them for raffle tickets to win big. We love rewarding hard work and seeing our Pirates shine! 🏴‍☠️✨

Free summer meals will continue to be open to all children 18 and under, no registration required.

Ready for summer! ☀️🎉 Mrs. Reagan and her students celebrated the end of the school year with a joyful day out in the Charlestown community. From laughter and games to snacks and sunny smiles, it was a perfect way to wrap up the year!

Learning to write like a pro 📝✨

We were honored to welcome legend Bob Hill to Dr. Riddle’s and Ms. Brafford’s 7th‑grade Advanced ELA classes for a hands‑on workshop in descriptive writing.

With 33 years at the Louisville Times & Courier‑Journal, roughly 4,000 columns, hundreds of features, and a dozen books, Mr. Hill shared practical tips that lit up our students’ creativity. They asked questions, shared their work, and left inspired to make every sentence count! Thank you for visiting our classes, Mr. Hill!

Today we honored their achievements in Middle School during our 8th Grade Celebration. Many students were recognized for achievements in academics, athletics, the arts, overcoming obstacles, and our PRIDE attributes.
