Way to go Bill Conklin for standing up to the reckless lawlessness of the Board and representing all of us who voted for you! We support your decision to right this wrong in the court. We want a Board that follows the law.

On November 11, the Township illegally changed the mandatory 3-year terms of all of the Planning Commissioners. We support new Supervisor Bill Conklin in objecting to this illegal scheme that takes away his power as Supervisor.

Bill Conklin's huge win as Supervisor of Hayes Township is a giant step in the right direction for our Township. Congratulations Bill for running a dignified, professional campaign and being honest with the voters. We also deeply thank Laura Ford, Sherry Baker-McCary, and Kevin Willis for the dignified, honest and truthful campaigns they all ran. We appreciate the offer of their experience and wisdom they would have brought to our board. We thank all four of them for recognizing that we need to reach across party lines in order to do the best for our Township. We look forward to your leadership, Bill.

Vote for our next Hayes Township Supervisor, William "Bill" Conklin.

We appreciate all the endorsements he received from people who've known him for years. Former Judge Melanie Stanton said: "His leadership skills, demeanor, understanding of the law and ability for decision making were recognized by the State of Michigan when he was appointed as an Administrative Law Judge."
