Today, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency are warning veterans about a scam after reports that Michigan veterans have received fraudulent postcards claiming they are eligible for additional benefits.

The Woman Veteran license plate is now available to order.

Women veterans are eligible for the plate who were members of any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces and have retired or been granted an honorable discharge.

The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA) is hosting the Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 10-11 a.m., at Heritage Hall in downtown Lansing.

Heritage Hall is located at 323 W. Ottawa St., inside the Capitol, in downtown Lansing. This event is free and open to the public. To reserve your seat, email [email protected].
