The small entry porch at the front of the church had to be removed this fall because the concrete beneath it has been slowly crumbling, causing the entry to begin separating from the main building. Thanks to Lyle Evans, Doug Hertz, Ty Sinclair, Lance Evans, and Lance Voegele for taking on this challenging task. Lance V. provided the telehandler that lifted and transported the structure to a secure place for the winter.

The decorations around the door are from a wedding that took place in the fall. They're a good fit for Christmas, too! 🎄💚🎄

This photo taken in the 1960s shows what was left at that time of Tom Quinn's grocery store/post office/dance hall, located just west of the church. Only a pile of crumbled rocks remain today. Thanks to Jan Sullivan McMeekin for this photo. (If anyone has earlier photos of the old structure, please send us a copy.)
