Congratulations to Director Rob Fisher & Deputy Director Toni Calhoun who have been accepted as a Weather-Ready Nation (WRN) Ambassadors. We are excited for these two to help better lead Dickson County in being Weather Ready. WRN Ambassadors serve as change agents and leaders in their community. They inspire others to be better informed and prepared, thus helping to minimize, mitigate, or avoid the impacts of natural disasters. Dickson County EMA is currently working with US National Weather Service Nashville Tennessee to renew Dickson County's StormReady County application. Keep an eye open for exciting weather related updates and classes coming soon.

We would like to Invite Everyone out to this BBQ Chicken Fundraiser for Chief Shannon Yates to help cover medical expenses. Chief Yates has spent 34 years helping citizens of the Town of Charlotte and Dickson County, now it's time we help him and his family. Hope to see Everyone there. Please come out to the White Bluff Masonic Lodge Saturday May 23rd, Chickens will be ready around 11:00 AM
