Peaceful Homes is looking for passionate, committed individuals to join our Board of Directors as we move closer to opening our doors to young adults aging out of foster care.

Right now, we’re especially looking for people with backgrounds in:

💰 Finance / Treasurer
⚖️ Legal & Compliance
🧡 Development & Fundraising
🤝 Community Leadership

We’ve done so much to build the foundation of Peaceful Homes, and now we’re looking for the right people to help us take this mission to the next level.

This is a working Board, so we’re looking for people who are ready to be involved, bring their knowledge and connections to the table, and truly help us create something sustainable for the young adults we will serve.

Still trying to process this… 🧡

A vision that started with one idea is now being shared with thousands.

Being featured as the headline story on WCNC Charlotte’s Seeking Solutions isn’t just a win for me—it’s a win for every young adult aging out of foster care who deserves a safe place to call home.

This is only the beginning. I won’t stop until Peaceful Homes is opening doors, changing lives, and becoming a model that reaches communities everywhere.

Thank you to Anna King and the WCNC team for believing this story was worth telling. And thank you to everyone who’s supported, donated, shared, encouraged, and prayed along the way.

🛣️Somewhere, there’s a young adult getting ready to age out of foster care, wondering where they’ll sleep, who they’ll call when life gets hard, or if anyone truly believes in them.

Peaceful Homes exists to change that.

We believe every young adult deserves more than just a roof over their head—they deserve a safe place to heal, grow, dream, and build a future they’re proud of.

One day, these doors will open to hope.
One day, someone will walk in feeling alone and leave knowing they’re loved.
One day, lives will be changed because a community chose to care.

We’re not just building a house.
We’re building futures.
We’re creating family.
We’re proving that where your story begins doesn’t have to determine where it ends.
