Yesterday's annual wellness check-up was a prerequisite for my upcoming recertification. During the examination, my eye exam went well with a squirrel, ball, walking human, empty bowl of food, stick, and a fire hydrant that looked like a phone booth. Dr. Lineberger concluded that my eyesight is 20/20 and my hearing is remarkably acute, detecting sounds like cheese being opened from two exam rooms away. It's clear I'm an exemplary specimen of the English Labrador breed. I needed my vaccinations, but the human needed a pillow after seeing the “stingy sticks” come out and after confirming the human's condition wasn't dire, we headed back to work. Definitely nap time for me!!
