Nicole has been a part of CMED since February 2022, excelling as a Telecommunicator, Radio Operator, and System Status Controller. With prior training experience, she’s ready to take on this new challenge and make an even greater impact!

When Nicole’s not hard at work, she loves spending time with her husband, Bryn, their 2-year-old son, Logan, and their furry family members. 🐾 She’s a fan of Disney, Harry Potter, Halloween, and Fall, and she’s recently rediscovered her passion for reading. Plus, you’ll often find her enjoying the zoo or new adventures with her little family. 🦁📚

On this day, 23 January 2003, Paramedic Tim Hayes’ life changed forever.

While responding to a motor vehicle accident on I-77 near Davidson during an ice storm, a tractor-trailer struck the scene, pinning Tim against the guardrail and causing severe injuries, including the loss of both legs.

Thanks to the quick actions and professionalism of his partner, Paramedic Bobby Suarez, Tim received the care that saved his life.

Today, we honor Tim’s resilience and the dedication of first responders who face unimaginable challenges in service to others. We would like to recognize him and his son who continues the family legacy by serving as a firefighter.

Victoria has been with CMED since October 2022, working as a Telecommunicator and Radio Operator. She’s always quick to lend a hand to the NET team and is excited to step into her new role as CTO. Outside of work, Victoria is a full-time student at the University of South Carolina 🎓. She enjoys baking and exploring nature with her family in her free time. 🍪🌿

Jamia joined CMED in April 2022 and has taken on multiple roles, including Telecommunicator, Radio Operator, and most recently, System Status Controller. Dawn has been a key part of our CMED team since May 2021, working closely with our A and B shift NET providers. She’s a true asset to our Communications family!

Originally from Tallahassee, FL, Dawn moved to NC 11 years ago. While she’s a lifelong Florida Gators fan, she’s also a proud Carolina Panthers supporter during football season. 🐾🏈

When she’s not working, you’ll find her at the racetrack as part of the Charlotte Motor Speedway First Responder team 🏁 or enjoying time with her son Jared, boyfriend Greg, and their three adorable cats. 🐱
