🚨Did You Know?
Many GEP scholars come from households where Spanish is spoken, and our students and families represent Hispanic and Latino communities from across the world.
We are especially proud to recognize three longtime members of our GEP team:
🩷Mrs. Vasquez, GEP Registrar, has served GEP for nearly 20 years! Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, she plays an important role in welcoming, supporting, and communicating with our Spanish-speaking families.
🧡Ms. Luna, Montclaire Site Director, is GEP’s first bilingual Site Director and has led our Montclaire program for five years. She was also born in the Dominican Republic and helps us strengthen connections with the children and families we serve.
💛Ms. Solis, Lead Staff at Merry Oaks, is very special to the GEP Team. Born in Mexico, she has used her bilingual skills and passion for families to build strong, meaningful relationships with our Hispanic families at Merry Oaks.

• Spanish is the first or home language for 16% of our students/families.
