Employee Spotlight: Gary Rich

This month, we’re proud to recognize Gary Rich, Fleet Supervisor with VAM.

Fun fact: Outside of his role with DGS, Gary has dedicated nearly 35 years to serving his community through the Harpeth Ridge Volunteer Fire Department. Since joining in 1990, he has responded to countless emergency calls with professionalism, compassion, and commitment.

In addition to his emergency response efforts, Gary recently helped host the department’s annual fundraiser, raising more than $8,000 to support equipment and operating expenses.

Thank you, Gary, for your years of service and for making a difference both in state government and your community. 👏

We would like to Invite Everyone out to this BBQ Chicken Fundraiser for Chief Shannon Yates to help cover medical expenses. Chief Yates has spent 34 years helping citizens of the Town of Charlotte and Dickson County, now it's time we help him and his family. Hope to see Everyone there. Please come out to the White Bluff Masonic Lodge Saturday May 23rd, Chickens will be ready around 11:00 AM
Dickson County Fire Rescue and Claylick Fire Department will be joining forces to put this Fundraiser on for Shannon.
