📰♻️ **FAST FACT: NEWSPAPER RECYCLING!** ♻️📰

Did you know?

If all newspapers were recycled, we could save approximately **250 million trees every year!** 🌳🌳🌳

Even better, recycling a stack of newspaper just **3 feet high** can save **one tree**. That's a simple action that can make a big difference for our environment.

Before tossing those old newspapers into the trash, bring them to the Charlotte Area Recycling Authority and help give them a second life. Every newspaper recycled helps conserve natural resources, reduce landfill waste, and protect our forests for future generations.

🌎 Small actions add up to big impacts!

📍 Bring your newspapers to CARA and recycle with us.

Hey, recycling champions! We appreciate you all! Gentle reminder- when you drop off your items, please make sure they're:

✅ CLEAN (no food, dirt, or liquids)
✅ SORTED (put in the proper bins)
✅ ACCEPTABLE (check our list if you're unsure!)
Helping out a friend, neighbor, or family member? We love that 💚 — but remember: you're responsible for every item you bring. Treat it like it’s your own!

Why does this matter?

🕒 Speeds up drop-off
🚫 Lowers contamination (which keeps recycling REAL)
👷 Eases the burden on our hardworking staff
🚮 Means less ends up in our dumpster.
CARA is proud to be known for excellence in recycling — with exceptionally low contamination rates. That means what we send out of CARA is truly getting recycled. And we appreciate all of you help in doing so! Let’s keep up the amazing work together! Thanks for being part of the CARA difference. 💚
