Charlotte VT Trails

Charlotte VT Trails The Mission of the Trails Committee is to promote the creation and use of a system of public trails within the Town of Charlotte Philo.

We're in the process of building a multi-use trail that connects East and West Charlotte! The Charlotte Town Link Trail, when complete, will be a seven mile long gravel path connecting the Charlotte town beach to the western village center, and then on to Mt. So far, there are two sections completed, the Co-Housing and the Melissa and Trevor Mack sections. You can access maps of these and all our

trails by clicking on this link: http://www.charlottevt.org/index.asp?Type=B_BASIC&SEC={28FB7F07-D952-4FF8-9290-CC1E06089A9B}

Town Link Trail Winter Challenge!

Winter is a great time to XC ski, walk, run or snowshoe on the Charlotte Town Link Trail! The ground may be snowy, but that doesn’t mean we can’t encourage and inspire each other to get out on the trail!

This February, post a selfie from the Town Link Trail. Upload to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using and tag . Members of the Trails Committee will donate $5 to the trails fund for each of the first 50 unique people who post! A picture is enough, but we hope you will include a sentence or two about the trail and what it means to you.

Thanks to the generosity of Charlotte voters, the Town has allocated $57,000 to build the next section of the Town Link Trail. The Trails Committee is undertaking a public study to determine the most appropriate route for the next section, and is seeking your input. To make the most of what the Town has built so far, the Committee is focusing on a segment that will help connect the West Charlotte village area and the Town Beach.

Join us via Zoom on Tuesday, October 20 at 7:00 p.m.

You can view maps of the general area under consideration at the Town Office next Monday and Tuesday before the Zoom meeting. We look forward to seeing you online next Tuesday. Look for a link to the Zoom meeting on Front Porch Forum.
