Their lungs can't wait.
Too many veterans exposed to burn pits are told their lung tests look normal when they are anything but. Our co-founder, Capt. Le Roy Torres, endured an invasive open lung biopsy searching for answers.
The bipartisan AIR CARE for Vets Act (H.R. 9666) would give the VA a better tool: a five-year pilot using FDA-approved 4D functional lung imaging. Instead of a single still picture, it shows how the lungs actually move and function, so it can catch damage standard tests miss, without invasive procedures.
The PACT Act expanded who qualifies for care. This bill helps the VA find the disease.
Here's what we need from you: ask your U.S. Representative and both U.S. Senators to sign on. This is a federal bill, so Congress is who votes.
