⚡️Alumni Spotlight!

On Friday, December 1st, 2LT Zachary Dart Galli graduated the Navy’s EOD School. EOD School for the U.S. Army is approximately 35 weeks long and consists of 45 tests. It has an estimated 65% attrition rate. 2LT Galli did not fail a single test earning him the colloquial title of Unicorn among EOD Techs. UVA Army ROTC is incredibly proud of his accomplishments.

This Monday cadets held Dining Out at Alumni Hall. There was a grog, branch pinning, skits and entertainment, as well as a speech from our guest speaker LTG (Ret.) Pede. Lastly, one of UVA Army ROTC’s very own, CDT Pryor’s band played for social hour.

Congratulations to our November Cadets of the Month!

CDT Moore & Morris continue to excel in the realm of never settling for mediocre. CDT Moore surpassed expectations as 1PLT’s PSG this semester and was an inspiring and motivating force to all cadets. CDT Morris significantly improved her physical training which led to an increase in her ACFT score of 169 points!

Keep up the great work!

Last Friday, UVA Army Color Guard showcased the program’s commitment to excellence and professionalism at the annual TechTalk dinner. This dinner celebrates our scholars and revolves around a contemporary topic of interest to government and industry leaders.

Tech Talk 2023 Memorial Foundation Dinner took place this year at FedEx Field in Landover, MD (Washington Commanders Stadium).

Spotlight Sunday 🌟

Cadet Russ is a first year engineering student from Nashville, TN. He is a part of the Ranger Challenge team and recently scored 585 points on the ACFT!

Outside of ROTC, CDT Russ is involved in RUF and Young Life fellowship as well as Club Wrestling.
