"Today's Republican women stand on the shoulders of 164 years of GOP political women." - The National Women's History Museum.

On International Women's Day, we celebrate the Republican women who have had a lasting impact on the Party, this nation, and the world. The Republican Party secured women's suffrage. The first woman elected to Congress was a member of the Republican Party. And the Republican Party was the first major party to consider nominating a woman for President, when in 1964 Margaret Chase Smith garnered the support of 27 delegates at the Republican National Convention.

Republican women will continue to lead, serve, and inspire as some of the greatest activists and citizens this country has known.

As Black History Month comes to a close, we would like to acknowledge the hard work and impeccable service of the three current African-American Republican members of Congress, pictured below. Each of these men exemplifies the kind of leadership, guidance, and dedication that will unify our country for decades to come.

We are saddened by the passing of legendary conservative voice and famed radio icon Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh had been diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. He was 70.

Many credit Limbaugh with helping to shape the Republican Party as we know it today. President Trump awarded Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Freedom in January of 2020. He will be missed.

Rush Limbaugh, the monumentally influential media icon who transformed talk radio and politics in his decades behind the microphone, helping shape the modern-day Republican Party, died Wednesday morning at the age of 70 after a battle with lung cancer, his family announced.

George Schultz, who served in various roles in the Eisenhower, Nixon, and Reagan Administrations and is largely credited with helping to end the Cold War, died on Saturday, February 6th. He was 100 years old.

Current Republican Congressman Ron Wright of Texas, who represented the 6th District of Texas, passed away today after a grueling battle with Covid-19. He was 67 years old.

"Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, leave the rest to God." - President Ronald Reagan

On this day in 1911, President Reagan was born in his hometown of Tampico, Illinois. On this day in 2021, we remember a true patriot for all that he did for our great nation. Happy birthday, Mr. President!

We are overjoyed to hear of President Trump’s rapid recovery from COVID-19. He is back at the helm, where he belongs — and where, we hope, he will be for four more years!

President Trump was discharged from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and returned to the White House on Monday evening to continue his fight against the novel coronavirus, after his medical team warned that he “may not entirely be out of the woods yet.”

As they all continue their recoveries, we send our thoughts and prayers to the President, First Lady, and the rest of the White House staff who recently contracted the coronavirus.

We know that they will all continue to battle this illness and will soon be fully healed and stronger than ever.

White House physician Sean Conley said President Trump's condition improved on Sunday after the president experienced significant oxygen drops on Friday and Saturday.

New poll numbers show a 9-point shift in Virginia since VCU’s and Roanoke College’s polls last month. In 2016, President Trump lost Virginia by just 5 points.

Our state is quickly becoming a battle ground for the upcoming election. Get ready for an exciting October and November!

Joseph R. Biden has a 5-point lead over President Trump in Virginia, a state that hasn’t been top of mind for either side compared to other battlegrounds this cycle, according to polling released Thursday.
