Please join us in welcoming Erica Broudy as the new principal of Greer Elementary School for the 2026-27 school year! 🎉

Principal Broudy, who steps into her role on July 1, joins ACPS from the Virginia Department of Education. She brings an impressive, award-winning track record in boosting student achievement, supporting staff retention, and championing equity-driven leadership.

Will it crack or will it survive?!

Murray Elementary 5th graders put their creativity, teamwork, and engineering skills to the test during the Egg Drop Challenge! Students designed protective creations, made predictions, and learned through hands-on problem solving as they watched their ideas take flight. 💡📚

Through project-based learning, Stony Point Elementary students explored real-world problems, worked collaboratively, and turned their ideas into creative, hands-on projects. 🧼🚗 True inclusion in action! When Mountain View 4th-grader Ben shared his love for car washes during morning share time, his teacher turned that passion into a special class field trip with the help of Tiger Wash and ACPS Transportation.

As Ben’s parents shared, inclusion often means Ben adapting to everyone else’s world. This time, the world stepped into Ben’s and that’s what true inclusion looks like. 🌟
