Served breakfast this morning in our 1780 log cabin. Also known as The Hessian Room, after the Hessian soldiers who either built the cabin and/or lived in it. Plaster covers most of the room since 1937, but we painted the beautiful green during the restoration. Lovely morning light and a soft breeze makes breakfast something to wake up for.
