Eastern Hancock continues to expand opportunities for students and families!

We’re excited to share more about two new programs launching this fall — EH Connect and EH At Home — designed to provide flexible, personalized, and meaningful learning experiences while keeping students connected to everything that makes Eastern Hancock special.

At EH, we believe learning should meet the needs of every student, and these new options are another step forward in creating innovative pathways for success.

CHARLOTTESVILLE — In an ever increasing effort to offer more learning opportunities to students and families, Eastern Hancock Schools will launch two new programs in the fall that are different from traditional school.

Eastern Hancock High School is excited to introduce a new opportunity for families during the 2026-2027 school year called EH At Home.

EH At Home is designed for families with high school students in grades 9-12 who value the flexibility and personalization of homeschooling, but still want access to the opportunities, support, and connections that come with being part of Eastern Hancock.

Through EH At Home, students can learn from home while remaining connected to Eastern Hancock teachers, courses, extracurricular activities, athletics, events, and other school experiences. Families have greater flexibility to design schedules and learning routines that work best for their child while still receiving guidance and support from the school.

EH At Home may be a great fit for families seeking a more personalized pace, flexible scheduling, additional family time, travel flexibility, or a learning environment that better supports the unique strengths and needs of their child.

Students continue working toward an Eastern Hancock diploma while staying connected to a school community that cares deeply about kids and families.

Families interested in learning more about EH At Home for the 2026-2027 school year should contact the Eastern Hancock High School office.

Last week the Eastern Hancock Softball team won their 6th MEC Championship since 2018 winning 55 of their 59 MEC games during that span.

Eastern Hancock High School is excited to continue expanding opportunities for students through an exciting new initiative called EH Connect for incoming freshmen during the 2026-2027 school year.

EH Connect is designed for students and families looking for a high school experience that feels more connected, hands-on, and relevant to the real world.

Students in EH Connect will learn the same essential content and standards covered in traditional high school classes, but through integrated, project-based learning experiences that connect multiple subjects together in meaningful ways. Instead of learning concepts in isolation, students will earn credit across multiple content areas while working through authentic projects and real-world challenges.

Students will collaborate with community and industry partners to solve real problems, explore career interests, and better understand how classroom learning connects to future opportunities.

EH Connect may be a great fit for students who prefer active, hands-on learning experiences and want school to feel more engaging and purposeful.

Students still experience everything that makes Eastern Hancock special, including athletics, clubs, fine arts, events, and opportunities with friends.

Space is limited for the 2026-2027 freshman class.

Congratulations Luke Manship, Sectional Champion in the Shot Put with a throw of 48'9". Luke also broke his own school record for Discus while earning runner-up at the sectional. Also congratulations to our 4x100 Relay team of Eli Manship, Luke Manship, Matt Hunt, and Gabe Sotelo for advancing to the Regional.

Rain certainly didn’t stop our Eastern Hancock Kindergarten and 1st grade students from having an incredible Touch-A-Truck Career Day right here on campus!

At Eastern Hancock, we believe career exploration starts early—because a student cannot aspire to a career they know nothing about. On Wednesday, our youngest Royals had the opportunity to climb, explore, ask questions, and learn firsthand from amazing business and industry partners who make a difference in our community every day.
