🎉 Please join us in congratulating Officers Kyle Sennott, Korelle Brown, Solomon Turner, and Dennis Thelin on their graduation from the 154th Basic Law Enforcement Academy!

We would also like to recognize Officer Korelle Brown for serving as Class President of the 154th Academy Class, as well as Officer Solomon Turner, whose swearing-in ceremony included a unique and memorable first for our agency—an impromptu wedding ceremony during the event! 💍

Before being assigned to a Field Training Officer, these officers will begin Post-Academy Training, a six-week program designed to build upon the foundation established in the academy and prepare them for the specific responsibilities of serving the Charlottesville community.

This phase includes practical, skill-specific, and scenario-based training focused on communication, decision-making, officer safety, and overall readiness for policing in our city.

We are proud of their dedication and accomplishments and look forward to their continued growth and service to our community. Please join us in welcoming and congratulating them on this important milestone! 👏
