The Friends of Charlton Public Library is holding Trivia Night on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at the The Charlton Beagle Club from 6 to 8 pm. We invite local businesses and individuals to consider sponsoring the event or donating an item for our raffle. Last year's event was a big success and we anticipate another good turnout.

Thanks for all your support. All proceeds go toward fulfilling the mission of the Charlton Public Library.

Happy Monday! The Friends of Charlton Public Library have a couple of events coming up - Charlton Old Home Day and our next meeting on September 8, at 3:30 pm in the Community Room. At the June meeting, we raised the idea of holding an evening meeting at some point to allow members who work to attend. What do you think? Could you weigh in on the subject and we'll discuss at our next meeting?

Although we are still in the midst of summer, the Friends of Charlton Public Library are thinking ahead to our next Trivia Night on Thursday, October 15, 2026. Last year's event was a big success and we hope to bring even more spectacular raffles prizes and a cash award to the top scoring team.

Currently we are seeking sponsors and raffle prize donations. If you or someone you know (an individual or business) is interested in participating in our fundraising event, please email [email protected] or call 774-230-1410. All funds raised help the Friends support the mission and activities at the Charlton Public Library.

We appreciate your support and look forward to working with you on this fun event! Thanks.

Is the heat getting to you? Are you looking for something fun, interesting, and free to do with your kids? Head on down to the Charlton Public Library! Every Tuesday the library shows a film at 1 pm in Dexter Hall - air-conditioned Dexter Hall! This week's feature is The Lorax. Snack on some free popcorn as you enjoy the movie! See you there!

How is your summer going? Getting lots of reading done? Remember that you only have 15 days to register for the Summer Reading Program. Why would you want to do that? Well, every time you check out an item, you receive a raffle ticket for one of several amazing prizes. Someone has to win them, right?

And remember to spin the wheel for a prize. You're always a winner!

Summer Reading Program happening now at the Charlton Public Library. Separate prizes for adults, teens, and children. Amazing prizes!! Check out an item (book, DVD, audio book, IOT) and receive a ticket. Spin the wheel at the circulation desk and you can win one of several prizes (one free ticket, a bookmark, crackers, etc.) Be prepared for any future rainy days and participate in the Summer Reading Program at the same time!
