This morning, we partnered with HITT Contracting Inc. at the Chase City Microsoft campus as part of their Safety Stand Down. We provided training on fire extinguisher use, proper operation, and general fire safety practices. We appreciate the opportunity to work together in promoting a safer workplace and strengthening community partnerships!

Today is the day!

Our fish fry is back! Saturday, May 2nd from 4:30-6:30. Eat in or take out. $12 a plate gets you fish, baked beans, slaw, hushpuppies, dessert, and water. No ticket required. We hope to see you there!!

As always, we ask that you please do not arrive before 4:30! We do not serve plates until 4:30

Saturday several of our members attended the YMCA Healthy Kids Day to hand out goodies and teach a little about fire safety.

We would like to thank all of our Linemen from Mecklenburg Electric and Dominion for all they do! We work closely with them often and can count of them being on scene quick whenever we call.

Being a lineworker means long hours, tough conditions and a deep commitment to service. It’s more than restoring power—it’s showing up, staying until the job’s done and putting the community first.

It’s official! For the first time, Chase City VFD has placed in service an aerial unit! Over the next few weeks we will be training and releasing operators. The addition of this truck will greatly expand our level of service.

We would like to thank our dedicated volunteers for all of their hard work getting this truck in service! This truck was purchased used from Ceffo Volunteer Fire Department and brought home last summer. With the exception of striping and some mechanical work, all refurb work was handled in-house by our members! This was a huge undertaking and they handled it easily.

The past few weeks have been busy for our volunteers! Live burn training, multiple first and second due working fires, vehicle roll-over, brush fires, and finishing up getting our ladder truck in service. We have also received a shipment of 1000’ feet of brand new hose and may have some other new deliveries slated for the near future 👀
