Parenting in a technologically advanced world comes with increasing challenges, especially when the risks change faster than we can keep up with them.

That's why our Carver County Family Resource Center is partnering with the Carver County Attorney's Office to educate parents about these dangers in a special event on Tuesday, Aug. 4.

Topics include:
• Dangers of interacting with strangers online
• Protecting personal information
• Public vs. private servers
• Setting up parental controls and privacy settings
• Establishing healthy gaming time limits

While the adults learn, your kids will participate in a special camp about all things animals. Learn more in the image included in this post.
