The growing season is in full swing, and it is the perfect time to learn the essentials of home food preservation!

Registration is open for our Basic Home Food Preservation adult enrichment class held at Chaska High School on Tuesday, September 1 from 6:30-8:30 PM.

This class makes it easy, covering tools, food safety, and ingredient selection for successful preservation. You will receive hands-on experience with water bath processing.

🚒 Fire Trucks at the FLC? 🚒

Yes, today, the fire alarm at the Family Learning Center was triggered by dust from an ongoing construction project. Children and staff immediately evacuated the building following standard safety procedures. The Chaska Fire Department responded, inspected the building and gave the all clear for everyone to safely return.

Thank you to The Chaska Fire Department for their quick response, and kudos to our children and staff for doing an outstanding job putting their fire drill practice into action!
