I’m a family man, rescue diver and business owner with a commonsense approach to helping Carver County thrive. My wife and I chose Chaska as a home for our young family ten years ago because of its community amenities, business opportunities, lower taxes and true neighborly feel. As a father, I understand the importance of strong family values and the impact they have on our community. I don’t tak
e for granted our beautiful public spaces, strong schools or the importance of role models our kids can look up to and learn from as they grow. Being a rescue diver and business owner has given me the chance to be that sort of role model while making a positive difference in the lives of others.
• I have served as a rescue diver and special deputy for more than 16 years, investing thousands of hours keeping our waterways, our neighbors and our families safe. It’s important to me to find ways to give back and that we all have a role to play – big or small – in creating the kind of community we want.
• My experience as a business owner, responsible for the livelihood of hundreds of employees and their families through the years has given me a profound sense of responsibility for making sound business decisions, being a responsible steward of our resources and earning the trust of the people we serve. I want to be your County Commissioner because this is where government gets personal. We need elected officials with proven experience, upstanding values and sound judgment. This is the basic nuts and bolts of government we rely on to make our community a safe and prosperous place to live, work and play. Carver County needs practical, common-sense governance to fix the issues we face. You deserve smart, accessible leadership you can be proud of and I would be honored to have your vote.
