This is just a reminder that tomorrow is the CAPES Team’s School Supply Giveaway.

The CCS CAPES Team is hosting their annual school supply giveaway on Tuesday, August 25, from 1:00-2:00 PM and 5:00-6:00 PM in the Elementary Gymnasium.

From Mrs. Calnon: We want to welcome our students back to CCS in a fun, exciting way!

Our Elementary Inspire Team is planning a Back to School Movie Night on Friday, September 4th*. Our CCS families are invited to an outdoor movie night to kick off the school year. Please come to CCS on Friday, September 4th at 7:30 pm. Please plan to park in the student parking lot. Bring your chair or blanket to the field in the back of the school and enjoy a movie under the stars. Please wear your pajamas. Refreshments will be provided!

*If we experience inclement weather, we will reschedule for Saturday, September 5th.

Braelyn Nichols' senior project, a co-ed slow pitch softball tournament, has launched and is now accepting registrations for teams of up to 10 people. All proceeds will benefit the Vermont Children's Hospital. The deadline to register is October 1. Please scan the QR code below or visit the district website for the sign-up form.

Franklin County Public Health Services is pleased to announce their next rabies vaccination clinic in Chateaugay. Please see attached schedule and clinic flyer.

Location: Chateaugay Old Bus Garage, 42 River Street
Date: August 25, 2026
Time: 6pm - 7:30pm
Cost: Free (a $5 donation is appreciated)

Age requirement:
- Pets must be 3 months old or older.

Special note for ferrets:
- Must be vaccinated every year

Vaccination Certificates
- You can receive a 1-year or 3-year rabies certificate. Send proof of your pet’s last rabies vaccination to [email protected] or 518-521-4877.
- If you don’t send proof, you will receive a 1-year certificate.

Pet Safety Rules
-Pets must be controlled by an adult.
- Dogs: on a leash
- Cats/Ferrets: in a carrier
- Cats: one per carrier
