Everyone,
I just discovered now something.
You know how the right to read laws say librarians are trusted and are trained in the right materials for children? They want that in the law and we are all supposed to believe that.
You know how EveryLibrary (really ALA) and ALA is driving the law to be passed nationwide?
Well I found an EveryLibrary source where librarians reveal they indeed really suck at that. They are so bad at material relating to s*x that they avoid it. And librarians need to be trained to get over their avoidance of that so as to better s*xualize children.
Useful quote (one of many) and source:
"In this article, we demonstrate that librarians and library workers are neither wellprepared by their training, nor supported systemically, to tackle the barrage of complex emotional and ethical issues that they must face in the course of collecting materials that relate to s*x, gender, and s*xuality." https://journals.library.wustl.edu/pollib/article/8812/galley/25621/view/

Notice one of the authors--the Immediate Past President of NJASL and on the Executive Board of NJASL that's colluding with the NJ legislature to pass this S2421 A3446 law and that the law sets up as the author of the model school book collection and review policies--point is she KNOWS the law is a big lie:

The last few years have seen a massive wave of book bans and challenges, and in some cases legal action directed at librarians and library workers in the United States. Most of these challenges have involved materials dealing with s*xuality, specifically LGBTQ+ identities and expressions. Though the...
