CRS was dispatched at 14:45 hours to a Sick Person. Our ALS crew responded, quickly assessed the patient, and determined the need for extra resources and Air Medical transport.

Tonight, one of our crews was on EMS standby at Hargrave Military Academy while the other stayed in service, running 911 calls and keeping the community covered.

The second half of the game was a little more leisurely, giving both crews a chance to cheer on the Tigers and enjoy the action from the sidelines.🏈🐅

Yesterday started with CRS responding to two calls, with two trucks out on the road. As the day continued, we kept two trucks available for our 911 response while also making time to support training in our community.

Our team had the opportunity to assist with a hands-on lifting and moving lab for the EMT students at Pittsylvania County Career and Technical Center, helping future EMS professionals practice important skills they’ll use when caring for patients in the field. 🚑

Serving our community isn’t always about answering an emergency call. Sometimes, it’s about investing in the future of EMS and helping prepare the next generation of first responders.

We’re proud to be there; however we’re needed. ❤️

We recently replaced the wheel simulators on 125, giving the truck a fresh, sharp look that reflects the pride we have in our equipment and our agency. It’s more than just making the truck look good; it’s about maintaining our fleet and representing our agency with pride every time we roll out. 🔥

This afternoon CRS was dispatched to two simultaneous calls within our first due area. Both calls were covered with Paramedic level crews. On the way back to the station, 127s crew was treated to free drinks and snacks from the Sunoco on U.S. 29. We greatly appreciate our communities support and love for our crews!

💰 Competitive Pay
• EMT-B — $17/hr
• EMT-A — $18/hr
• EMT-I — $23/hr
• Paramedic — $23/hr
