Chatham Windmill

Chatham Windmill The Godfrey Windmill (built in 1797) is located in Chase Park, Chatham, MA. It is one of the few historic windmills remaining on Cape Cod.

It is open to the public during the summer months. Admission is free, donations are welcomed. Built in 1797, this historic wind-powered grist mill ground corn and rye for the citizens of Chatham, Massacusetts for over 100 years. Following a historic restoration in 2009-12, the Godfrey Windmill is once again able to grind corn just as it did over two centuries ago. The mill is open for guided tours

during the summer. Also, twice a year the windmill is put in operation and grinds corn. Additional information is available on our website: ChathamWindmill.com
