Congratulations to the new EMRs!

Congratulations to this group of EMR students that successfully completed the EMR class(Emergency Medical Responder)and passed the final tonight. Also congratulations to Seth Retter as this was his first class as the lead instructor. He did a great job! These students will be helping out their communities which include Chenoa, Chatsworth, Fairbury, Saunemin, Flanagan/Graymont, Cullom , Grand Ridge, and Odell. That's a significant boost not just for our communities but for the communities around us as well! 🚑🚒

From the US National Weather Service Chicago Illinois, please heed tornado warnings!

There is a threat for strong (EF-2+) tornadoes across northern Illinois this afternoon between 4 and 8 PM. The highest threat will be in the dark red shaded area. This area has shifted farther south than previously forecast. Take tornado warnings seriously, and have multiple ways to get warning information today.

The Firefighters’ Choice Award will be announced at 7:00 PM.

Participants will also have the opportunity to join the 7:30 PM parade down Main Street as part of the America 250 celebration festivities.
