Hope was a shining light who epitomized everything the Hart Gallery stands for. She was a talented artist who, through her time at the gallery, developed her voice and her skills. She also was beloved by the staff and other artists who shared the space with her every week.

Prior to her passing, Hope was set to exhibit her work at the September First Friday art crawl. To honor her memory, we are going to move forward with her show. We hope you will be able to join us on Friday, September 4th from 6-8 p.m. for this special exhibit showcasing the talents of a special artist.

We are heartbroken by the passing of Dolly Parton, a Tennessee icon whose extraordinary generosity and love for children have changed lives around the world. 🤍

Dolly believed deeply in the power of books to shape a child’s future. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, she turned that belief into a legacy, ensuring children could experience the joy of receiving a book of their very own, month after month, from birth until their fifth birthday.

At Signal Centers, we have the incredible privilege of carrying that mission forward right here at home. As the local community partner for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Hamilton County, we manage enrollment and raise the funds needed to provide free books each month to children throughout our community.
Dolly once said, “If I’m remembered 100 years from now, I hope it will be not for looks, but for books.”

We have no doubt she will be.

Her legacy lives in every book delivered, every bedtime story shared, every child who discovers a love of reading, and every opportunity those early experiences can create. 📚🤍

For those looking for a meaningful way to honor Dolly’s life, we invite you to make a memorial gift to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Hamilton County. Your gift will help us continue the work she held so close to her heart and put more books into the hands and homes of local children.

Thank you, Dolly, for believing in our children and showing the world just how powerful a book can be. We are honored to help carry your legacy forward in Hamilton County.

Her music touched us all but that may not have even been her greatest legacy. We will continue honoring her memory through the Imagination Library, doing everything we can to “get as many books into the hands of as many children as possible.”

Rest well Dolly.
