As teachers prepare for a new year, I am relishing in the memories I have from just last week at the Arts, Education & Ideas Summit - a teacher training by the Chattanooga Arts Partners in Education in which it is quite an honor to be included.

Many hands come together for this training. Many thanks to my colleagues at ArtsBuild , Arts-Based Collaborative , Hamilton County Schools, and Chattanooga Theatre Center. UTC Honors College - thank you for the beautiful setting.

To our teachers resting up for tomorrow, my hope is that your cups are filled with the joy of a creative learning classroom and culture. You are our heroes. Thank you for everything you do each and every day.

In May of 2025, Sarah Thompson joined ABC @ UTC as the Program Assistant. And so far, she has jumped right in, navigating a variety of tasks and contributing creative ideas to solve problems and elevate our impact story sharing capabilities. On Friday, she completed Holmberg Arts Leadership Institute. She has already applied the valuable skills this training provides. So proud of Sarah and happy to celebrate her first anniversary at the Arts-Based Collaborative at UTC.
