If they win this year’s Nightingale Network grant, they will utilize the funding to create care packages for those entering their R**e Crisis Center. These would include a fleece blanket, apparel, underwear, and toiletries.

Meet Chattanooga Free Store! If they win this year's Nightingale Network grant, they will utilize the funding to provide essential items to anyone who needs them including diapers, baby wipes, cleaning supplies, hygiene items, period products, sexual health items, and harm reduction items.

Women's Fund of Greater Chattanooga is thrilled to announce the three finalists for our 2025 Nightingale Grant! It was a tough decision, but after scoring all the applications, our volunteer committee made their selection. The finalists are Chattanooga Free Store, Partnership for Families, Children and Adults, and The Launch Pad! If selected, each organization plans to spend the grant funds in the following ways.

Chattanooga Free Store - will provide essential items to anyone who needs them including: diapers, baby wipes, cleaning supplies, hygiene items, period products, sexual health items, and harm reduction items.

Partnership for Families, Children and Adults - will create care packages for those entering their R**e Crisis Center. These would include a fleece blanket, apparel, underwear, and toiletries.

The Launch Pad - for their Workforce Development program which provides women in recovery with a safe, affordable, and sober living environment while equipping them with the skills essential to transition into a better way of life by securing living-wage jobs, and while dispelling the stigma around hiring people in recovery.

It's not too late to join the 2025 Nightingale Network so that you can cast your vote for one of these deserving organizations! Voting will begin on Tuesday, September 9th and 100% of your Nightingale Network membership fees are used to fund this annual grant.

The Nightingale Network 2025 Grant application is now open!

The $10,000 grant will fund an effort elevating the status of women in one of seven key areas, including poverty and opportunity, political participation, health and wellbeing, and more! Since 2011, the Nightingale Network grants have awarded more than $158,000 to area nonprofits.

We are a week away from launching our 2025 Nightingale Network Grant Application, which is 100% funded by your annual Nightingale Network membership dues, and matching gifts. If you haven't joined the Nightingale Network yet, now is the time! Your membership ensures we are able to fund the $10,000 grant awarded this September to an organization in our community working to improve the lives of women and girls.

Memberships start at $50/year (and levels are named after impactful women, including the late Ruth Holmberg and local Edna Varner), and collectively, we make a difference in our community.
Joining this network also means building connections with impactful leaders and organizations in our area!
