‼️CHEBOYGAN DAM UPDATE: Maintenance at the Cheboygan Dam Complex hydroelectric plant is scheduled for this week. During this time, residents may notice slight fluctuations in water levels at the complex as the hydro dam is partially or temporarily taken offline.

No public safety concerns are expected.

Cheboygan has always been a community that shows up for each other—especially when it matters most. ❤️

As we continue to navigate the impacts of recent flooding, we’re also looking ahead to brighter moments we can share together this summer. One of those is our 4th of July fireworks—part of celebrating America’s 250th and the spirit of this community we all love.

If you’re in a position to contribute, we’ve opened a community fundraising effort to help make this year’s show bigger, longer, and truly memorable. And if now isn’t the time—that’s okay too.
