Join us as we visit with Mary Ann Riddings, Black River Customs and Cheboygan Junior Chiefs, about one of Northern Michigan’s favorite summer traditions—the Sheboygan Car Show, rolling into town June 19 & 20!

The fun kicks off Friday night with the Parade of Vintage Cars traveling from the
K of C Hall to Yeck’s Family Drive-In for Graffiti Night. Step back in time with classic automobiles, retro music, nostalgic memories, poodle skirts, car hops, and all the charm of the good old days. It’s a true family-friendly celebration that captures the spirit of summer in Cheboygan.

On Saturday, the excitement continues at Gordon Turner Park with beautiful vehicles on display, on-site registration for both the car show and model car contest, a silent auction, and plenty of activities throughout the day.

Looking for the perfect Father’s Day weekend getaway? Bring Dad and make a weekend of it! While you’re here, check out the Cheboygan Car Show, Pirate Festival, enjoy Moana Jr. at the Opera House, celebrate 20 years of the Maritime Museum, and experience everything happening throughout our community.

🌺🎭 Chamber Chat: Moana Jr. Sets Sail at the Cheboygan Opera House! 🎭🌺

The Cheboygan Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to shine the spotlight on the Northland Players Summer Youth Theatre Program and their upcoming production of Moana Jr. at the beautiful Cheboygan Opera House!

Join us June 19, 20, and 21 as talented local youth take the stage in this exciting musical adventure. Through the Northland Players’ summer theater program, young performers gain confidence, creativity, teamwork skills, and a love for the arts while bringing a beloved story to life for our community.

Programs like this do so much more than produce a show—they create opportunities for our youth, enrich our quality of life, and help make Cheboygan a vibrant place to live, work, and visit. The arts bring people together, inspire imagination, and add to the culture that makes our community so special.

We encourage everyone to come out and support these incredible young performers and the dedicated volunteers who make this experience possible. You’ll enjoy a fantastic performance while helping ensure that youth arts programming continues to thrive in our area.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer has requested federal disaster aid in response to severe storms, heavy rain, rapid snowmelt and nine confirmed tornadoes that caused widespread damage and severe flooding in 43 counties across Michigan between April 10 and 21. If approved, the governor’s request would allow federal aid to start flowing directly to families, businesses, and communities.

Looking for some free family fun this Saturday? 🌿👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Join us June 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the beautiful Cheboygan Children’s Trail for an afternoon of outdoor adventure, learning, and family memories!

Nestled along the river and surrounded by nature, the Cheboygan Children’s Trail has been inspiring exploration, discovery, and a love for the outdoors for generations. It’s one of those special places that reminds us how fortunate we are to call Cheboygan home—a place where children can learn, play, imagine, and connect with nature.

This wonderful community asset would not be what it is today without the dedication, passion, and countless volunteer hours of Connie and Dale Rieger. Their commitment to the Children’s Trail is remarkable, but it is only one chapter in a lifetime of service to Cheboygan. For decades, they have generously shared their time, talents, and hearts to make our community a better place for all of us.

As we enjoy this special event, we also celebrate and thank Connie and Dale for their extraordinary volunteerism, leadership, and love for Cheboygan.
