Christmas Stroll is less than a week away on Friday, December 3rd! Come out and join us in the all the fun.
What is there to do? We're glad you asked! Here is some of what is planned.
*Pictures with Santa at the Library. Bring your own camera, smile, and take a few photos with Santa.
*50/50 Raffle. $10 per ticket. Only 400 tickets will be available. Winner receives 50% of the proceeds, and the other 50% will be donated to the Meagher County 4H Council. Must be 18 to purchase tickets, cash and check only. Raffle to be held between 8:30 and 9:00 pm. You do not have to be present to win, but it is more fun to hear your number called in person.
*Class Christmas Trees. Come down and vote for your favorite class tree. We have 9 classes participating this year. The class with the most votes will win a class party and bragging rights until next year. Pick up your voting ticket in front of the Jawbone at the 50/50 raffle station.
*Silent Auction. We have a few generous business donations of decorated trees. Stop by and check them out. The highest bidder wins and gets to take the entire tree home, decorations and all. The proceeds from the silent auction will also be donated to the Meagher County 4H Council.
*Vendors will be there! Come pick up some Christmas gifts and decorations. Lots of goodies this year!
*Hay Rides! Get across town safely. Several stops throughout.
*Games, food, & business specials all night. Stop by participating businesses and play the "Button Game". Prizes will be awarded to the winner.
*The Meagher County Courthouse is decorating the large tree out front too! Stop by and be amazed at how they got that star on top!
There will be an online map and a limited number of printed maps available at the Christmas Stroll so you know how to map out your evening.
Are you wanting to join in on the fun last minute as a business or an individual? Want to donate a fully decorated tree for the silent auction (you don't have to be a business)? Do you want to participate in the activities by volunteering some time to help with the raffle or silent auction? Or do you really really want to be the hay ride driver for some of the night? Contact us and we will see if we can squeeze you in so you can participate in all of the excitement.
If we still have your attention this far in, consider joining (or renewing for 2022) the Meagher County Chamber of Commerce. You can join as a business or an individual/family. We are always looking for more bright and cheery faces to help plan events that support our local towns. We hold monthly meetings, so stop by and say hello.
