A reminder: The Annual City Wide Trash Off Week is April 13th-18th.

Saturday, April 18th, volunteers will be available to help collect trash from elderly residents, and those who are unable to leave their homes.
Contact the Chamber of Commerce office, 918-473-2070 or [email protected], to get added to our list for trash pick-up!

On Saturday, all other residents can bring their trash to the Checotah Senior Citizen Center and/or Heritage Waste Management. Saturday IS the only day to deliver to Heritage Waste Management LLC.

Starting April 13th, Monday to Friday of that week, you will be able to deliver your trash to the City Maintenance Barn.

To participate, you must have a current City Water Bill.

On Saturday the 18th all other residents are welcome to bring their trash to the Checotah Senior Citizen Center and/or Heritage Waste Management. Saturday is the only free day at Heritage Waste

Severe weather is possible this week! Stay weather aware and tune in daily for updates from NWS or local media. Now is the time to prepare for severe weather:

✅ Identify your safe place and plan to be there BEFORE a storm threatens your area.
✅ Clean out your storm shelter if you have one.
✅ Have multiple ways to receive warnings (and make sure your notifications are turned on!)

🎬 Gentry Cinema is looking for sponsors to help provide FREE Spring Break movies for our community. If you would like to help make that happen, reach out to them!

🤝 Join the Chamber! Our next Checotah Chamber of Commerce meeting is next Tuesday at 12 PM, and we’d love to see new faces there.

🎪 We are also looking for vendors for Old Settlers Day in June! If you sell crafts, food, products, or have something fun to offer, we’d love to have you be a part of it!
