The International Institute of Buffalo is offering a pair of two-week training courses for bilingual people who would like to become certified as medical interpreters. Applicants must be fluent in English and one other language and be currently unemployed.
The all-day training sessions will be offered Monday through Friday from June 19-30 and from Aug. 7-18. Those who complete the courses will have a chance to take a national certification exam.
