🐾🚨 River the Rescue Raccoon made his debut this weekend at his very first parade!

We had an absolute blast joining the community at Winlock Egg Days. It was great seeing so many friendly faces, waving, smiling, and celebrating together. River did an amazing job soaking it all in and representing Lewis County 911 with pride.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the day so special we’re already looking forward to the next one! 💙🚒🦝

🦝 Happy National Mascot Day from Lewis County 911!

Today we’re celebrating our favorite rescue raccoon, River! River is here to help everyone understand what happens when you call 911 and what counts as a real emergency.

When should you call 911?
Call if someone’s life or safety is in immediate danger. This includes:

Difficulty breathing or chest pain
Severe bleeding or serious injuries
Unconsciousness or seizures
Fires, car accidents, or crimes in progress

If it’s not an emergency, you can still get help by calling our non-emergency line 360-740-1105. River wants everyone to know — we’re here when you need us most!

Lewis County 911 will be joining Lewis County Fire District 15 at Egg Days.

Come see our friend River the Rescue in the parade. We hope to see you there!

Hi Winlock!

Summer is kicking off! On Saturday, June 20th, come see us after the Egg Day Parade in Winlock!

We’ll be set up at the elementary school with fire and EMS safety information, giveaways, and raffle opportunities for the community.

Also stop by the fire station for our Junior Firefighter Challenge! It’s a fun way to learn about firefighting, safety, and what our crews do.

We’d love to see you there and celebrate Egg Day with our community!
