On December 30th, we remember Junie. We move through this day by working our way down a list of activities that honor Junie. One of the items on that list is to share Junie’s Place and the work that carries her name.

December 30th is approaching and it’s hard to fathom that it’s been nearly three years since I hugged my beautiful girl. The past years, I’ve only made it through by honoring Junie and doing things that she loved. If you are looking for ways to honor Junie Bug on Tuesday, here are way to do so that are perfectly Junie:

1. Eat Oreos
2. Blow bubbles
3. Listen to “Hey Junie” (“Hey Jude”)
4. Eat raspberries off of your fingers
5. Watch any of the “Ice Age” movies
6. Sing “Wrecking Ball” or “Easy on Me.”
7. Do an act of kindness
8. Eat chocolate
9. Make someone laugh
10. Visit the cemetery
11. Read “Goodnight Gorilla” or “Very Hungry Caterpillar”
12. Help a friend
13. Have an ice cream cone
14. Make a mess
15. Go down a bumpy slide
16. Say something is “juuuuuust right.”
17. Call your brother or sissy and tell them you love them
18. Hide in plain sight during Hide n’ Seek
19. Lounge with your belly out
20. “Dit” with someone you love
21. Shake your hips
22. Donate to SUDC Foundation (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood)
23. Spread the word about Junie’s Place, Inc.
24. Be appy
