Rain or shine, Chelsea Pride carried on! 🌈

We were thrilled to celebrate with everyone who joined us at the Chelsea Pride event last Saturday!

A special thank you to the Chelsea LGBTQ Coalition for partnering with us and to the City of Chelsea for sponsoring this incredible event. We’re also grateful to our amazing guest speakers, vendors, and community partners for helping make the day such a success.

In celebration of the FIFA World Cup coming to Chelsea, the Chelsea Chamber of Commerce and the City of Chelsea are excited to host a Chelsea Domino Tournament!⚽

**NEW LOCATION***

Due to continued rain and wind over the next several days, the Chelsea LGBTQ Pride Flag Raising will be moved indoors to the Chelsea Senior Center and will take place from 3:00–5:00 PM.

Guest speakers and featured entertainment will still take place as scheduled. The official flag raising will be rescheduled for a future date when weather conditions are more favorable.

Pride continues in Chelsea, no matter the weather!🌈🧁

**NUEVA UBICACIÓN**

Debido a la continua lluvia y viento durante los próximos días, la Ceremonia de Izamiento de la Bandera del Orgullo LGBTQ de Chelsea se trasladará al interior del Chelsea Senior Center y se llevará a cabo de 3:00 a 5:00 PM.

The City of Chelsea continued the Memorial Day ceremony at City Hall, where residents, veterans, students, and community leaders gathered in remembrance and reflection🇺🇸⭐️

The program featured remarks from veterans and guest speakers including Congressman Seth Moulton, Pastor Francisco Quiles, and City Council President Leo Robinson, who honored the courage, sacrifice, and service of those remembered on Memorial Day.

The ceremony also featured performances and tributes from Chelsea students, including the national anthem, readings honoring local veterans, original Memorial Day poems, and music by the Chelsea High School Concert Band.

La Ciudad de Chelsea continuó la ceremonia del Día de los Caídos en el Ayuntamiento, donde residentes, veteranos, estudiantes y líderes comunitarios se reunieron en recuerdo y reflexión🇺🇸⭐️

El programa incluyó palabras de veteranos e invitados especiales, entre ellos el congresista Seth Moulton, el pastor Francisco Quiles y el presidente del Concejo Municipal, Leo Robinson, quienes rindieron homenaje al valor, sacrificio y servicio de aquellos recordados en el Día de los Caídos.

La ceremonia también contó con presentaciones y homenajes realizados por estudiantes de Chelsea, incluyendo la interpretación del himno nacional, lecturas en honor a veteranos locales, poemas originales sobre el Día de los Caídos y música de la Banda de Conciertos de Chelsea High School.

On Monday, May 25, the City of Chelsea hosted a special Memorial Day ceremony at the Chelsea Garden Cemetery to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Residents, veterans, city officials, and community members gathered together in reflection and gratitude to pay tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving in the United States Armed Forces🇺🇸

This ceremony included speeches from Tracy Nowicki, Director of Health and Human Services at Chelsea City Hall and Gettyburg address read by Mia Nowicki.

El lunes 25 de mayo, la Ciudad de Chelsea llevó a cabo una ceremonia especial del Día de los Caídos en el Cementerio Chelsea Garden para honrar y recordar a quienes hicieron el máximo sacrificio al servicio de nuestro país. Residentes, veteranos, funcionarios municipales y miembros de la comunidad se reunieron en reflexión y gratitud para rendir homenaje a los valientes hombres y mujeres que dieron sus vidas mientras servían en las Fuerzas Armadas de los Estados Unidos🇺🇸
