Early Morning Structure Fire

At approximately 4:58 this morning, Chelsea Fire & Rescue was dispatched to a structure fire in the Chelsea Acres subdivision.

A Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputy arrived first on scene and reported the garage to be well involved. Crews quickly went to work and were able to search the residence and make a good stop on the fire, preventing further damage to the home or neighboring structures.

No injuries were reported among the homeowners or responding crews.

We greatly appreciate the assistance from Shelby County Sheriff's Office and Shelby County 9-1-1.

They took part in lectures and workshops while exploring the latest in fire service equipment and technology—bringing valuable knowledge back to better serve our community.

We’re proud of the members who attended and grateful for the support of our Mayor, City Council, and Fire Administration for making opportunities like this possible.
