This morning, 7/24/26, at 06:56, we responded to a car vs utility pole that overturned with entrapment at 6 Broadway Av., just in from Market St.

Upon arrival, crews found the sole occupant conscious and standing inside the vehicle. We deflated airbag, and after the windshield was removed, the occupant was provided protective clothing and assisted in safely climbing out. Central Hudson responded to replace the damaged utility pole.
The Town of Wappingers Ambulance & New York State Police assisted on the scene.

Chelsea firefighters providing standby coverage at the Hudson Valley Renegades game.

As firefighters arrived for the standby we were called to a 2 car accident at Rt 9D & Brockway Rd that we also responded too.
